INTRODUCTION



This big derby clash in the third round of the Swiss Super League will be a clash between two teams that won their both games in the first two rounds played. Young Boys are the reigning Champions, while last season Zurich won the Cup, and along the process they managed to defeat Young Boys. In the first two rounds, Young Boys managed to win twice and both by 2-0 results, while for FC Zurich, they won by 2-1 in the first game and the second game by 2-0.







YOUNG BOYS



Championsd Young Boys started their season as expected winning both their matches and have yet to concede a goal, which puts them at the top of the standings. In their first match with Grasshoppers they were unable to score in the first half, but as soon as their opponents were down to a player less, then in the 70th minute, Sulejmani scored their first goal and Ngamale who came on to replace Sulejmani scored the second goal for a 2-0 win. In their second game away to Lugano it was much easier for them as they took the lead the middle of the first half and then in second half they scored another goal. New coach Seoane kept the same team for both sides, and he made changes during the game. They have yet to start any of their new signings, while Lotomba is injured and will miss this clash.







FC ZURICH



They finished last season in fourth spot and that was a good achievement in itself. On top of it they also managed to win the Cup. Other then that they were the only side who were able to trouble Young Boys last season. They managed to defeat Young Boys in the Cup last season despite being the outsiders and they managed to do that in the last 20 minutes despite playing with a player less. This season they started very well with two wins in two matches played. Their second match was a win over city rivals Grasshoppers when they won by 2-0 away from home. Both their goals were scored in the second half, as compared to thweir match against Thun, where they scored each goal in each half. They also conceded once against Thun. If we look at their finish last season, they ended with eight matches without defeat. They have briought in the likes of H. Kryezziu and Domgjoni as reinforcements, and they have started in the starting eleven. They will not have the services of striker M. Frey for this clash through injury.







PAST MEETINGS



When they met in the Cup Finals, FC Zurich beat Young Boys by 2-1, while Young Boys won twice in the league over FC Zurich.
