INTRODUCTION

This season Leganes will be happy if they can stay in La Liga while for Athletic Bilbao they will want a better finishing and at least a place in Europe.



ATHLETIC BILBAO

They were never in danger of being relegated last season as they had 14 points more then the teams in the relegation zone. However they were poor and they finished far from the places that leads to the Europa League. So now they will want a better start from the beginning of the season, and they do not have any matches in Europe to distract them as well. Manager Berizzo brought some players in the transfer window where the likes of Capa, Berchice and Gane were brought into defence, but they sold goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga for a world record fee. Now for this match they will not have the services of Goalkeeper Herrein, which means that they will have Remiro and that could be a weak link at the back for them.



LEGANES

No doubt that with the changes they brought into the side this season, it is obvious they want a good finishing this season. They were not impressive last season as they finished just above the relegation zone. They decided to replace Maricio Pellegrino and brought in Asier Garitan as their new manager. They also sold Rica to Southampton, while players who were on loan returned to their respective clubs. The players that came into the side are the likes of En-Nesyri from Malaga, while Arnaiz from Barcelona were brought in to replace Rica who left the team. On the other hand, striker Carrillo came in as part of the terms of getting Rica from Southampton. They also brought in Rolan to strengthen the attack. They also recently signed defenders Omeruo and Nyoma.
