INTRODUCTION

No doubt this is the most interesting match in Serie A on Saturday as Napoli in fifth spot welcomes the visit of Fiorentina in third spot, with six points. However the team from Florence has played a match less.



NAPOLI

Napoli will want to win this match especially as Fiorentina beat them 3-0 when they were the visitors last season. They also owed it to their supporters after they were unexpectedly beaten in the last round by Sampdoria by 3-0. Prior to that coach Ancelotti's side made two wins, beating the likes of Lazio 2-1 away from home and at home beating AC Milan 3-2. Their main problem is in defence, so they were happy when the international break came. They will know that Fiorentina is good in attack and will also improve their defence in the meantime. Now they will not have the likes of goalkeeper Meret, defenders Chiriches and Ghoulam and midfielder Younes due to injuries.



FIORENTINA

Fiorentina won their first two matches, beating Chievo 6-1 at home and Udinese by 1-0 also at home. At the moment other then them, only Juventus have maximum wins in Serie A, but they have not played their match with Sampdoria in Genoa which was postponed due to the terrible accident which happened in that city. In their first two matches, coach Pioli used up to eight new players. Ficve players are still waiting for their debut. Among them are the likes of Belgian striker Mirallas. Now they will not have the services of goalkeeper Lafont who got injured in their match with Udinese, so his place will be taken over by Dragowski. They will also welcome back Veretout to midfield after he has served his suspension.
