Dynamo Dresden

Dynamo Dresden won their first game of the season against MSV Duisburg with 1-0 and started talking about big plans this season, but soon after they were brought down to earth. They lost each of their last two games against Arminia Bielefeld with 2-1 and against Heidenheim with 1-3 at home last weekend. After showing two very poor displays in a row there was a rumor that Dynamo Dresden are thinking about hiring former RB Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhuttl. However, Hussenhuttl himself denied any contact by the club, so Dynamo Dresden are carrying on with their current coach. Last two defeats shook Dynamo Dresden`s confidence and they made too many defensive errors last week in the heavy home defeat against Heidenheim. They clearly lack more reinforcements, but it is highly unlikely that anyone will come before the transfer deadline. If Dynamo Dresden continues with the same squad they will face very tough time this season, because last season with exact same players they finished only two points above direct relegation.



Hamburger SV

Unlike Dynamo Dresden who went from good to bad, Hamburger SV are going in opposite way. First round`s heavy 0-3 home loss to Holstein Kiel opened their eyes and Hamburger SV started playing much better. Hamburger SV won their last two 2.Bundesliga games in great style by beating SV Sandhausen with 0-3 away and Arminia Bielefeld with 3-0 at home last weekend. They were very dominant and created lots of chances in their last two games, so it is hard to see Dynamo Dresden holding them not to score at least twice in this game. Hamburger SV`s main striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga played a fantastic last match, scoring twice and providing one goal assist. He is definitely best option to be backed as goalscorer in this game.



THE BETTING VERDICT

Hamburger SV are much better side than Dynamo Dresden in all aspects. The hosts will try to pick at least one point here, but considering the way they played in the past couple of weeks and their very bad defending, Hamburger SV look much closer to getting the three points in this match.
