CHELSEA

We may not get to see the best of Chelsea until they really get behind Maurizio Sarri's methods in a couple of months time, but the early indications are that the players are going to enjoy playing for their new Italian manager. Three wins from three League games is a great start for The Blues, but they have not been entirely convincing so far. While fully deserving to beat Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United, there are still some defensive question marks for the team to address. Those were most notable in the 3-2 win over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge as the visitors created some huge chances throughout the first half, but Chelsea will believe they can keep the wins coming with another home game this weekend. The Blues are 3rd in the early Premier League table as one of four clubs with an 100% record in the League and they will be looking to maintain that ahead of the international break. Chelsea are unbeaten in 4 home games at Stamford Bridge, but they have won just 2 of those. Cesc Fabregas remains a doubt for Chelsea and is unlikely to feature in this one.



BOURNEMOUTH

Some suggested Bournemouth could be a dark horse for relegation at the start of the season but the performances in August indicate those suggestions are going to be some way away from the truth of how the club performs. Eddie Howe's attacking brand of football is well received in Bournemouth and the players keep fighting hard for the manager to make a very good start to the season. Coming from 0-2 down to earn a draw with Everton last weekend means Bournemouth have picked up 7 points from a possible 9 and are up to the heady heights of 6th in the Premier League table. They have also progressed in the League Cup and Bournemouth will be making a second visit to London this season having won their first away League game at West Ham United. Bournemouth are unbeaten in 6 games in all competitions going back to last season and they have earned 5 wins in that time to build their confidence. They had only won 1 of their last 14 away games in all competitions, but The Cherries beat Burnley 1-2 on the final day of last season at Turf Moor and have won at the London Stadium in their next away game this season. Marc Pugh and Junior Stanislas are both expected to rejoin the squad after the international break.



HEAD TO HEAD

Both Chelsea and Bournemouth won away from home at the other's ground in the Premier League last season with the latter securing a stunning 0-3 win at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea did beat Bournemouth 2-1 here in the League Cup, but they have lost 2 of the 3 League meetings at Stamford Bridge since The Cherries were promoted to the Premier League.
